During the COVID pandemic, we embarked on a journey that began with dog walks with friends. We don’t have a dog, but were just walking with our friends. we often found ourselves with wet hair when rain unexpectedly struck. We decided to find a solution! We decided to collaborate with dedicated organisations such as INNOVATE UK and WORK AVENUE, who continue to guide us to this day. Our journey has come a long way, from Switzerland to the UK…from a mere ‘proof of concept’ to realising our idea of stylishly keeping our hair dry!

No LA-HOOD is water repellent.

No, your LA-HOOD should be handled with care and wiped with a wet cloth.
Are there similar products in the market to yours? What is your USP?
Our focus is dog walkers and dogs (we don't want a walk cut short because the dog walker’s hair is getting wet). Of course, there are a lot of other companies that have similar products out there and we embrace them all. Our focus makes us different because we are utilitarian, not a fashion statement.
Can I use my discount code after the availability date?

Can you trust your supply chain and the manufacturing process?
Our suppliers, who are not just partners but close friends, have been an integral part of our journey. Based in London and with their own factory in Sri Lanka, they handcraft every product with care and adorn them with our unique and lively designs. We take pride in offering a range of vibrant and fun patterns that are sure to bring sunshine to your rainy days.
